Macho, no? No.

It occurred to me that a lot of people, particularly adolescent males think that being an ignorant fuck is cool. Let me elaborate. Nowadays I see a lot of people dressing up like gangsta’s because they think it’s awesome. Now, my question is why would anyone want to be a "gangsta"? They kill, rob and rape people. Why can’t they just turn to alcoholism or drug abuse like normal people do when faced with the impending doom of their pathetic lives? Just kidding. But seriously, do they really think being a violent killer is "cool"? If they do, I can 1-up them. What’s cooler is the irony that someone they care about is killed/robbed/raped by the group they idolise. Poetic justice, now that’s cool.

On a lesser degree, I don’t understand why people enjoying posting pictures of themselves giving the finger on Friendster. Seriously. When mobsters do it, that’s intimidating. When homicidal sociopaths do it, that’s strange and unusual. When Elmo does it while beating up Cookie Monster, that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen. And it’s also scary. However, when 18 year old boys who have yet to develop the notoriety of violence do it, it’s just pathetic. Do people like that actually think they are cool? But perhaps I’m being overly critical, maybe it’s just their way of compensating for the lack of intelligence and wit. Maybe what we should do is shower them with condescending looks of affirmation in hopes that one day they shall be able to meet the minimum standards of society (which isn’t exactly very high). So remember, middle fingers are for dangerous people that are bound for execution by lethal injection, and Penang motorists.

I’m just gonna ask a small favour to those who read my blog. Just post your ratings on what you think about this entry in general. You know how I love attention.

    Good hunting.
