    The following may or may not contain spoilers to movie. Reading is totally at viewers discretion.

    Horse chase. Evil sorcerer confronts heroine searching item. Item sent away to be discovered by boy. Boy brings item home. Tussle with cousin. Cousin says bye bye, man hugs ensue. Item turns out to be egg and hatches. Blue dragon is born! Dragon learns to fly, experiencing ultra-accelerated growth at same time.

    Assassins sent to kill boy. Boy’s uncle killed. Cry cry. Mysterious stranger appears and guides boy how to ride dragon (lots of cheesy one liners included). Boy learns how to do magic by calling things by their elvish name. Sorcerer tricks boy into rescuing heroine, defying mysterious stranger. Mysterious stranger dies at hands of sorcerer as result of boys stupidity (one of two favourite characters in the movie is gone T_T). Travels to stronghold, encountering what appears to be yet another ally.

    Arrives at stronghold. Not-so-LOTR-epic-battle ensues. Sorcerer dies at hand of unlikely boy-turned-hero (the other character dies).

    Misleading scene where audience is tricked into thinking is going to be a kissing scene.

    Flies into sunset.

    The long wait for sequel only to be disappointed by stale acting and more cheesy one liners.

    I just saved you 2 hours and RM10. Rejoice!
