Why I Can’t Have Nice Things
God apparently does want me to have nice things. Somehow, someway, something always go wrong.
Take for example my very shortly owned iPod Nano 8GB. My sister had bought it from the US at a much lower price. As you’d guess I was ecstatic. An iPod of my own! Alas, I had only used it for a week before my sister decided to borrow it on her holiday, and alas again it was left in a taxi in Bangkok never to be heard from again.
And then there’s my handphone, which most of you should know what happened to it by now. That too was gone.
And now my most prized possession, my laptop is broken. It’s amazing how much damage a hairline crack can do to the LCD screen and even more amazing is how much it cost to get the hairline crack fixed. When I inquired, the technical personnel estimated a ranged between RM1000 - RM5000. Tis a sad year indeed for me.
Why can’t I have nice things? ):
Good hunting.
