It looks like I haven’t been fulfilling my duties as a blogger of late, so its high time i updated this blog.
As you can tell from the title, this is a movie post about the film adaptation of graphic novel genius Frank Miller (who is also famous for titles like Sin City and Dark Knight).
I just have to say, what’s not to like about this movie? Blood, gore, violence, human eye candy, CGI eye candy and deformed freaks. It’s all part of the Frank Miller experience, although those who shun things I’ve mentioned about shud probably avoid this movie. Still, 300 is by far one of the better if not best action movies I’ve seen.
Still, some people will have much to critique, usually about historical precision and political undertone and bla bla bla. However, if you just wanna enjoy watching men hack and slash through a sea of bodies and blood bath, this is the movie for you. Why concern yourself with political undertones, just enjoy it for what it is. A movie.
Hats off to Zack Snyder for this truly entertaining movie.
